About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced CFD Engineer with strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Six Sigma methodologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in CFD simulations, process optimization, and quality improvement projects. This role requires a blend of technical simulation expertise and process excellence skills to support design, validation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations (thermal, fluid flow, multiphysics, and transient analysis) for product and system design.
- Apply Six Sigma (DMAIC/DFSS) and Lean tools to drive process improvements in engineering workflows.
- Validate simulation results with experimental/test data and improve accuracy of predictive models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, manufacturing processes, and operational performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis, FMEA, and statistical process control (SPC) for quality and reliability.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, cycle time, and rework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in CFD simulation and analysis.
- Proficiency with ANSYS Fluent/CFX, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or COMSOL.
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and multiphase systems.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
