Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (LAHORE OFFICE)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
  • Lead long-term financial planning and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stock Exchange Knowledge:
  • Must have the knowledge of all the modules of stock exchange like:
  • (a) Regular Trading
  • (b) Future Trading
  • (c) Margin Financing (Finance/Financer)
  • (d) MTS
  • (e) GIS Schock Auction
  • (f) All trading elements of PSX
  • M2M and Future Clearing:
  • Oversee must have strong knowledge of M2M clearing and Future clearing.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Oversee preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Budgeting & Cost Management:
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring that the company operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and improve financial efficiency without compromising business growth.
  • Risk Management:
  • Assess financial risks and develop risk management strategies to minimize potential financial liabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with other departments, providing financial guidance and support as needed.
  • Financial Compliance & Taxation:
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, and collaborate with external auditors for financial audits.
  • Strategic Decision-Making:
  • Collaborate with senior management in making critical business decisions related to investments, acquisitions, and business expansion.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support business growth and optimize profitability.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A candidate who has completed Chartered Accountancy (CA).
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or audit, with prior experience in a leadership role Stock Exchange experienced will be preferred.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong knowledge of stock exchange working modules, financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations SECP, PSX, NCCPL, CDC, tax laws, and compliance standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders clearly.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of Stock exchange and its modules
  • Strong attention to detail and a strategic thinker with a focus on long-term financial goals.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Experience in managing financial audits and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
