Job Purpose
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, planning, and management to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong expertise in manufacturing finance, cost control, supply chain economics, and international business operations relevant to the sports equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives

Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance and growth opportunities

Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards

Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure effectively

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

Implement robust product costing models for MMA equipment (e.g., gloves, pads, apparel, protective gear)

Monitor production costs, margins, and profitability across product lines

Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement, production, and logistics

Supply Chain & Inventory Control

Oversee financial aspects of supply chain operations, including vendor payments and inventory valuation

Optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs

Collaborate with operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure strong internal controls, audit processes, and corporate governance

Manage tax planning, compliance, and regulatory reporting

Fundraising & Investor Relations

Lead fundraising initiatives, including equity, debt, or strategic partnerships

Maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions

Prepare financial models and presentations for stakeholders

Key Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Professional certification preferred (CA, ACCA, CFA, CPA)

10-15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience

Prior experience in manufacturing (preferably sports goods, textiles, or consumer products)
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing and supply chain finance

Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting

Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and decision-making ability
