Key Responsibilities of a CFO.
Financial Strategy & Planning:
Develop financial models, forecasting, and strategic planning to support business goals.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with I accounting standards, taxation (GST, Corporate Tax), and regulatory bodies.
Treasury & Working Capital: Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and manage bank relationships.
Financial Reporting & Internal Controls: Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and risk management frameworks.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and board members.
Requirements
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must requirement.
Experience: 10-15 years of progressive financial experience, min of 5-10 years in GCC experience with prior leadership roles.
Skills: Strong understanding of Bahrain VAT /tax laws, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
