Job Description

Job Title: Change Specialist

Contract Type: Part-time (Average 32 hours/week) through June 2026

Location: mostly remote, some onsite/occasional meetings East Metro

Rate: $65.34 - $77.22 w2


Job Summary:

The Change Specialist will collaborate with Change Leads to support department-level change execution. This includes developing tools, guides, and detailed change plans tailored to team size and risk level. The role ensures alignment of change strategies, communications, and implementation plans across systems, processes, and roles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive change plans aligned with deployment timelines.
  • Create communication materials to support change initiatives.
  • Build tools to help teams understand their roles in the change process.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for Change Leads.
  • Monitor progress against milestones for each site or team involved in transformation efforts.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on site-specific change status.
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Offer tailored support and resources to teams navigating change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading organizational change or large-scale projects in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication strategies for change initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating change-related workshops or training sessions.
  • Strong project management skills, including milestone tracking, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a leader or key contributor in previous change programs or projects.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
