Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Channel Manager – Modern Trade

As a Channel Manager for Modern Trade, you will be responsible for driving sales, visibility and profitability within the channel. This role involves developing and executing channel strategies, managing key modern trade accounts, leading negotiations, monitoring and reporting on campaign and strategy effectiveness, and ensuring flawless in-store execution to achieve business objectives.


Things you will be doing as Channel Manager - Modern Trade

  • Develop and implement annual business plans for the modern trade channel aligned with overall company objectives
  • Identify growth opportunities and design channel-specific promotions, pricing, and assortment strategies
  • Analyze market trends, shopper behavior, and competitor activities to refine channel approach
  • Ensure flawless implementation of trade marketing activities, planograms, and product launches in stores
  • Coordinate with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Category Teams to ensure availability and visibility
  • Drive in-store activation plans to increase consumer engagement and category share
  • Track sell-in and sell-out data, stock levels, and market share
  • Manage channel budgets effectively to deliver ROI on trade spend
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights for management
  • Work with 3P agencies to improve merchandizing standards


What we are looking for in you?

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from any accredited local or foreign institute, preferred
  • 5 - 6 years of Marketing & Sales experience with 2 years of experience managing Key Accounts
