We are seeking a About the Role: As a Chaplain at Bethany Aged Care Centre, you will play a key role in fostering a sense of community, belonging, and spiritual enrichment for our residents, families, and staff. This full-time position will see you: - Offering prayer and pastoral care , helping residents find meaning, purpose, and connection in their journey of aging.To be successful in this role, you will have:- The ability to offer prayer and pastoral care with compassion and sensitivity.- Experience in leading chapel services and conducting funerals / memorial services .- A solid understanding of chaplaincy principles and practices, especially in relation to aged care. Diploma of Chaplaincy or a willingness to obtain one within two years - The ability to wear a recognisable Salvation Army uniform and represent The Salvation Army with integrity.As a Chaplain, you will have the unique opportunity to serve some of the most vulnerable members of our community, offering them spiritual care and a sense of hope in their later years.
