Charge Capture Associate (Outpatient) (Contract) – California (93465)

• Location: California, 93465

• Pay Rate: $587 – $675 (weekly)

• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 5x8s

  • Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

  • Days: Typically Monday–Friday; weekends may be required

Position Requirements:

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy

• Charge entry/billing experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Knowledge of revenue cycle operations preferred

• Ability to follow structured processes and work within defined guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and coordinate charge master activities

• Accurately enter outpatient charges into billing systems

• Collaborate with departments to ensure proper coding of billable items

• Balance charge summaries to encounter forms prior to posting

• Analyze reports and system edits to support billing accuracy

• Assist with audits and process improvements related to revenue cycle operations

• Communicate with supervisors regarding charge entry issues or discrepancies

• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
