Position Description: Clinical Nurse III - Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care Transport

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information

The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

Requirements:

• 2 Years RN acute care experience
• RN experience in PICU or Pedi ER
• At least 2000 hours of NICU level 2 or level 3 experience
• Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification
Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid

Preferred:

1 year Leadership experience

Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:00PM - 6:30AM

Shift: Shift 4

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
