Job Description – Chartered Accountant (1–2 Years of Practice Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of experience in traditional practice. The role involves handling taxation, compliance, auditing, and advisory assignments for clients across industries. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial reporting
• Preparation and finalization of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
• Preparation of MIS reports and financial statements for clients.
• Taxation
• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, GST Returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Assisting in tax planning and advisory for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Representing clients in assessments and liaising with tax authorities.
• Audit & Assurance
• Conducting statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
• Preparing audit reports and ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
• Compliance & Advisory
• Company law compliances, ROC filings, and other MCA-related work.
• Advisory on accounting, taxation, and regulatory matters.
• Supporting clients in business structuring, registrations, and compliance documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST.
• Proficiency in accounting/tax software (Tally, and MS Excel.

- ⁠handling income tax and gst notices

• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – recently qualified or up to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a CA firm
