Job Description – Chartered Accountant (Finance & Accounts)
Position: Chartered Accountant

Reporting To: Head – Finance / Senior Management
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Ind AS–Compliant Financial Statements & Audit Coordination
- Prepare, review, and finalise Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements in full compliance with Ind AS and applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Ensure proper presentation and disclosures as per (Presentation of Financial Statements), including Balance Sheet, Statement of Profit & Loss, Other Comprehensive Income, and Notes to Accounts.
- Prepare Cash Flow Statements in accordance with Ind AS
- Apply and ensure compliance with relevant Ind AS applicable to construction and infrastructure companies, including:
- Revenue recognition from construction contracts, project-wise revenue, WIP, unbilled revenue, contract assets and liabilities
- Capitalization of Property, Plant & Equipment and Borrowing Costs
- Deferred tax calculations and disclosures
- Financial instruments, borrowings, guarantees, ECL provisioning
- Events after the reporting period
- Prepare detailed Notes to Accounts, accounting policies, significant judgments, estimates, and management assumptions.
- Lead Balance Sheet finalization, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end Statutory Audit, including liaison with External Auditors, resolution of audit queries, and timely closure of audit.
2. Accounting, Compliance & Closures
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books of accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and schedules to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Oversee statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, Tax Audit, and other applicable laws, in coordination with internal teams and consultants.
- Review GST returns, TDS returns, ITR filings, tax audit workings, and compliance documentation.
- Ensuring Ind AS-compliant reporting through ERP
- Coordinate with ERP vendors and internal stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
3. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare and review financial MIS, project-wise P&L, cash flow statements, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
- Support management with timely and accurate financial insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
4. Team Management & Coordination
- Review and supervise work of accounts and finance team members.
- Guide the team on Ind AS application, statutory compliance, and reporting best practices.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and continuous improvement in accuracy and documentation standards.
5. Certifications, Tenders & Other Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial certificates required for tenders, banks, clients, and internal departments.
- Support priority financial matters as directed by management.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities, bankers, consultants, and internal departments as required.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Construction / Infrastructure Company
- Hands-on experience in Ind AS financial reporting and audit coordination

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
