JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Chartered accountant – IFRS & Caseware

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong hands-on experience in Caseware and IFRS / US GAAP to support our consulting and reporting engagements. The role requires technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple client assignments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements using Caseware

Ensure accurate application of IFRS and US GAAP standards

Handle financial statement disclosures, schedules, and reconciliations

Support accounting conversions (Ind AS ↔ IFRS / IFRS ↔ US GAAP where applicable)

Audit & Advisory Support

Provide audit support including working papers, documentation, and explanations

Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and international clients

Assist in advisory assignments related to accounting standards and reporting

Client & Stakeholder Management

Independently manage assigned client engagements

Respond to client queries related to financial reporting and accounting treatment

Maintain strong professional communication with global stakeholders

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards

Maintain high-quality documentation and audit-ready working papers

Follow internal review processes and timelines strictly

Process Improvement

Support process improvements and standardization of reporting templates

Assist in training juniors on Caseware and accounting standards

Eligibility & Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Mandatory hands-on experience in Caseware

Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP

Experience in consulting, audit, accounting, or outsourcing environment preferred

Exposure to international clients will be an added advantage

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong technical accounting and reporting skills

Practical understanding of IFRS standards and disclosures

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Experience - 2 to 6 years
