Chartered Accountant

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements – Record all company transactions systematically and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions – Ensure all petty cash disbursements are properly documented, approved, and reconciled regularly to prevent misuse or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure tax compliance – Handle all VAT-related transactions, calculate liabilities, file timely VAT returns, and maintain records for audits by tax authorities.
  • Advise management on tax planning and financial matters – Provide guidance on effective tax planning, cost optimization, and financial decision-making to improve the company’s profitability and compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors – Regularly audit internal financial processes to identify errors or discrepancies and assist external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations – Stay updated on Companies Act, VAT laws, and other relevant regulations; ensure all financial activities adhere to legal requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenses – Help prepare budgets, forecast financial performance, track actual expenses against budgets, and provide variance analysis to management.
  • Prepare management reports, cost analysis, and profitability reports – Generate reports for management to review business performance, evaluate project costs, and identify areas for cost savings and profitability improvement.
  • Identify financial risks and implement internal controls – Detect potential financial risks, recommend mitigation measures, and establish internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Represent the company in audits, regulatory inspections, and financial queries – Act as the company’s financial representative in front of tax authorities, regulatory bodies, and auditors, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
