Chartered Accountant (CA) – Retail Operations

About the Role

Al Madina Group is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong experience in the retail sector, preferably in supermarkets or hypermarkets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial control, reporting, and operational efficiency across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Monitor and improve profitability, cost control, and margins
  • Analyze sales, stock, and operational data to support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and accounting standards
  • Manage payroll verification, expense tracking, and reconciliations
  • Work closely with operations, purchasing, and HR teams
  • Conduct internal audits and identify areas for improvement
  • Strengthen financial controls across multiple outlets

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience, with retail/supermarket experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and cost control
  • Experience handling multi-branch operations is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
