Oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting, including month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UAE GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to provide insights into business performance and support strategic decision-making.
Manage and coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related submissions, staying updated on UAE tax laws and regulations.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial projections and variance analysis to track performance against budget.
Conduct financial due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
