Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our Financial & Investment Consultancy firm in the UAE. The role involves delivering high-quality financial, accounting, advisory, and compliance services to clients and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical capability, and deep understanding of UAE financial regulations, tax frameworks, and reporting standards relevant to investment and advisory businesses.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
• Prepare management reports and financial dashboards for senior management and clients

Advisory & Client Support

• Provide financial advisory services including financial structuring, investment analysis, and feasibility studies
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and due diligence engagements
• Assist clients with business setup, financial modeling, and operational optimization
• Provide insights on cost control, profitability, and financial risk management

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, AML/CFT, and other applicable regulations
• Prepare and review VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and related submissions
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, regulators, and external advisors
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, and reporting obligations

Risk Management & Controls

• Implement and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and risk mitigation frameworks
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions
• Support internal and external audit processes and follow up on audit findings

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with legal, compliance, investment, and operations teams
• Guide and mentor junior accounting staff, where applicable
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, banks, and financial institutions

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation & Certification

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / ACCA / CPA / ICAEW or equivalent

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or financial consultancy
• Prior experience in financial services, investment advisory, banking, or consultancy firms preferred
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and the UAE regulatory environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and advisory skills
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
