Key Responsibilities – Chassis Manufacturing Operations for Heavy Commercial Vehicles

  • Manage end-to-end chassis manufacturing processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor daily production schedules and manpower allocation to optimise workflow and maximise efficiency.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements, focusing on reducing waste, downtime, and costs.
  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to coordinate resources and resolve bottlenecks.

Required Skills – Communication and Production Management

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership presence, able to influence positively and build consensus within cross-functional groups.
  • Demonstrated experience with manufacturing management systems and production planning tools.
  • Solid organisational skills, capable of prioritising competing demands in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications & Experience – Chassis / Automotive Manufacturing

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in chassis manufacturing or heavy commercial vehicle production.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record in managing manufacturing teams and achieving production targets.
