We are seeking a dedicated and articulate Chat Support Agent to join our growing customer service team. In this full-time role based in Atlanta, Georgia, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing timely and effective support through our digital chat platform. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

* Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner via live chat to address their enquiries and resolve issues.
* Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the correct company procedures and tools.
* Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction and build sustainable relationships of trust.
* Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
* Maintain precise records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize the customer experience.
* Meet and exceed personal and team-based performance targets.
* Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies consistently.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a customer support role, with experience in a chat-based environment being highly desirable.
* Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
* Proficient typing skills and the ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
* A patient, empathetic, and customer-focused attitude.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is considered an advantage.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further qualifications in a relevant field would be a plus.
