Position: Chef

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and develop recipes
  • Prepare and cook pasta, pizza, arabic cuisines, and fast foods
  • Prepare base sauces to standard consistency and taste
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards
  • Control cooking parameters (temperature, time, texture) for consistency
  • Supervise staff and provide training
  • Maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor ingredient quality and report spoilage or defects
  • Apply FIFO for storage and stock rotation

Requirements and Skills:

  • Culinary training or hands-on kitchen experience
  • Practical knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and recipes
  • Understanding of dough preparation, sauce production, and cooking control
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and specifications
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Experience with kitchen equipment
