Position: Chef
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and develop recipes
- Prepare and cook pasta, pizza, arabic cuisines, and fast foods
- Prepare base sauces to standard consistency and taste
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards
- Control cooking parameters (temperature, time, texture) for consistency
- Supervise staff and provide training
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Monitor ingredient quality and report spoilage or defects
- Apply FIFO for storage and stock rotation
Requirements and Skills:
- Culinary training or hands-on kitchen experience
- Practical knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and recipes
- Understanding of dough preparation, sauce production, and cooking control
- Teamwork and leadership skills
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and specifications
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Experience with kitchen equipment
