We are currently seeking an experienced chef to join our Holiday Inn breakfast team, specializing in American-style breakfast service. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our hospitality operation, you will oversee food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to excel in a fast-paced environment, creating memorable meals that delight our guests. Duties

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
  • Plan and develop innovative menus that align with restaurant standards and guest preferences
  • Oversee all food production activities, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of high-quality dishes
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions to provide seamless service
  • Supervise shift operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Oversee food handling procedures and ensure proper storage and sanitation practices are followed

Skills

  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
  • Proven supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen setting
  • Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and food production techniques
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Experience in menu planning, food service management, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control practices
  • Expertise in food safety standards, catering services, and restaurant management principles
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments
  • Knowledge of bartending and hospitality practices is a plus
