We are looking for a Chef De Partie – Bakery to join our team, working alongside the Head Chef to manage the bakery section. This includes preparing baked goods, ensuring consistent quality and presentation, maintaining inventory, and supervising junior bakery staff. For this role, we are seeking candidates with a strong bakery background and creativity in pastry, breads, and desserts. The successful candidate will use their culinary and managerial skills to play a key role in elevating our bakery offerings and maintaining exceptional standards.
Ensure that the bakery section operates efficiently while maintaining Calo's quality standards.
Lead the bakery team in a timely and organized manner.
Fill in for the Head Baker or Section Lead when required.
Resourcefully resolve any bakery-related issues and maintain workflow continuity.
Manage and train bakery staff, create work schedules, and assess performance.
Clearly communicate tasks and expectations to team members.
Order and manage bakery inventory appropriately.
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers.
Produce high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Previous experience as a CDP in a bakery environment.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the hospitality sector, preferably in bakery, pastry, or dessert production.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery setting.
Must be currently present in KSA.
Proficient in English.
Proven team-leading experience.
Exceptional bakery and kitchen management skills.
Ability to assign responsibilities and monitor progress effectively.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Up-to-date with bakery trends, techniques, and optimized kitchen processes.
Strong communicator.
Pleasant personality with the ability to lead with empathy and patience.
Customer service mindset, passionate about quality and innovation in bakery products.
