Chef De Partie Kitchen

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to manage a designated kitchen section and ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality food. The role requires strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate a specific kitchen section (Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Grill, Sauté, Garde Manger, etc.).
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.
  • Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the assigned section.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
  • Assist with menu planning, food costing, and stock control.
  • Monitor wastage and support cost control initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
  • Report equipment issues or shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis Chef.
  • Culinary qualification or professional training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
