We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to manage a designated kitchen section and ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality food. The role requires strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate a specific kitchen section (Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Grill, Sauté, Garde Manger, etc.).
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.
- Supervise and train commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the assigned section.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Assist with menu planning, food costing, and stock control.
- Monitor wastage and support cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
- Report equipment issues or shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis Chef.
- Culinary qualification or professional training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
