We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join a culinary team within a luxury hotel environment. The ideal candidate will oversee a specific kitchen section, ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional food quality while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction expected in a five-star setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for an assigned kitchen section (e.g., Grill, Sauce, Pastry, or Larder)
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with luxury hotel standards, ensuring consistency and precision
- Organize and complete mise en place efficiently to guarantee smooth and timely service
- Supervise, mentor, and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, providing ongoing training and guidance
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and HACCP standards
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to meet brand and guest expectations
- Contribute to menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates as required
- Control food costs by minimizing waste, maintaining proper stock rotation, and managing inventory effectively
- Collaborate closely with other kitchen sections and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless operations
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment
- Strong understanding of both classical and contemporary cooking techniques
- Experience working in high-volume, quality-focused kitchens
- Professional culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Valid Food Safety and Hygiene certification
