We are seeking a skilled and creative Japanese & Korean Cuisine Chef currently residing in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing authentic Japanese and Korean dishes, maintaining high food quality, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Prepare and cook authentic Japanese and Korean dishes (e.g., sushi, sashimi, ramen, bibimbap, Korean BBQ).
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to hygiene standards.
Manage food preparation, portion control, and inventory.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary.
Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations in Saudi Arabia.
Innovate and contribute new menu ideas when required.
Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia (local hiring only).
Proven experience as a Japanese or Korean chef (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese & Korean cuisine.
Ability to handle sushi preparation and Korean grilling techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
Good communication skills (basic English required; Arabic is a plus).
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification.
Experience in hotels, fine dining, or high-volume restaurants.
Multinational kitchen experience.
