Role Overview
The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is a key strategic leader responsible for driving the organization’s people strategy, culture, compliance, talent development, and overall workforce effectiveness. The CHRO ensures alignment of HR practices with organizational goals, fostering a high-performance, compliant, and people-centric workplace.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Advise leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent strategy.
- Lead change management initiatives to support growth and transformation.
- Drive company culture, values, and employee engagement initiatives.
B. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, ensuring timely onboarding of quality talent.
- Implement long-term manpower planning and succession planning for critical roles.
- Build strong employer branding and hiring pipelines.
C. Performance Management
- Design and monitor performance evaluation frameworks (KPI, OKR, Competency Matrix).
- Ensure fair, transparent, and growth-oriented appraisal cycles.
- Implement corrective actions, counselling and performance improvement plans (PIP).
D. Learning, Development & Capability Building
- Create comprehensive training calendars and leadership development programs.
- Build people capability through structured skill development interventions.
- Promote continuous learning culture across all levels.
E. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-morale work environment.
- Ensure effective grievance redressal systems and disciplinary frameworks.
- Conduct employee surveys, engagement activities, and culture-building initiatives.
F. Compensation, Benefits & HR Policies
- Oversee payroll, compensation benchmarking, and rewards programs.
- Design competitive and compliant benefits structures.
- Frame, update, and implement HR policies, employee handbook, SOPs.
G. Statutory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, audits, EHS and organizational policies.
- Manage HR legal cases, disciplinary proceedings, and documentation accuracy.
- Lead compliance audits and risk mitigation processes.
H. HR Operations Excellence
- Oversee HRMS implementation, digital workflow, and data analytics.
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
I. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members.
- Promote accountability, performance excellence, and collaborative work culture.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in HR / MBA HR / PGDM HR or equivalent.
- 5–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, culture management, and strategic HR planning.
- Experience in handling large workforces and multi-department HR systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
