About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with strong expertise in foam production, particularly memory foam. The selected candidate will oversee manufacturing processes, ensure consistent product quality, and optimize operations using advanced production technologies, including the Laader Berg foaming machine.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize memory foam production, ensuring consistent formulation and processing.
• Manage and operate Laader Berg machines efficiently for high-quality output.
• Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Implement and monitor quality control standards to meet product specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot production, machinery, and quality issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, quality checks, and operational changes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in foam production, with a focus on memory foam.
• Technical certification in foam processing or related specialization is an advantage.

Technical Expertise Required

• Strong knowledge of Flexible Polyurethane Foam and Laader Berg foaming technology.
• Experience in:
• Memory foam production
• Batch (Box) foam process
• Spring mattress processing
• Rebonded foam and fillers (e.g., Calcium Carbonate)
• Sustainable and eco-friendly foam materials

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and computerized systems.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes including formulation, curing, and material properties.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/plant-based role
• Requires hands-on involvement in production processes
