Chemical Engineer – Electroplating

Job Title: Chemical Engineer – Electroplating
Job Purpose:
The Chemical Engineer – Electroplating will be responsible for supervising and optimizing the electroplating processes, ensuring high-quality surface finishing, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all electroplating operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and optimize plating processes and chemical baths.
• Conduct routine testing, troubleshooting, and analysis of electroplating solutions.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma techniques to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing line.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality) to solve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, quality inspections, and reports.
• Train and guide technicians/operators on plating techniques and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in Electroplating.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma.
• Very good command of English (spoken & written).
• Previous experience in manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
