Chemical Process Specialist

Your new role:You will play a key role in supporting production. Responsibilities include:

• Performing surface treatments and coatings on medical implants in line with SOPs.
• Ensuring all production tasks meet strict quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Supporting laboratory-based research projects under the guidance of senior technical staff.
• Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Operating within a clean room and quality-controlled environment.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Adapting to flexible working patterns to support operational needs.

What you'll need to succeed:To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate:

• A degree-level qualification in chemistry or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of task accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production lab setting.
• Experience in production / manufacturing in the pharmaceutical or biotech medical device industries is an advantage but not essential.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and adherence to SOPs.
• Initiative and creativity in suggesting improvements to processes and workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a disciplined and empathetic approach to teamwork.
