Chemical Sales Engineer

  • Working in water analysis and hospitality areas.
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirement
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • Meeting regular sales targets
  • Recording and maintaining client contact data
  • Coordinating sales projects
  • Supporting sales campaign
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Maintain and retain existing clients
  • In/out sales for new customers
  • Increase share of wallet for old customer by introducing new products (equipment’s for water treatment)/chemicals
  • Visits for new clients to check if there is any new opportunity
  • Chemical background is a must

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Chemical Engineer or similar role in water treatment
  • Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background
  • Computer literacy to run simulations and conduct ongoing research
  • Exceptional problem solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Chemical Engineer
