Job Title: Sourcing Specialist - Chemicals Reports To: Materials Manager

Description / Scope / Mission
Ensure that the appropriate supplier base is developed and managed to ensure that Business expectations are met in terms of Total Costs of Ownership, Service and Quality with a special focus on Home Cleaning Chemicals raw materials.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
1. Manage relationships with suppliers to meet current and future business expectations and ensure that the plant needs are met in full, in terms of price, service level and quality (lowest TCO). Assist in supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding processes in collaboration with Quality and R&D teams.
2. Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for chemical ingredients used in home cleaning products (e.g., surfactants, solvents, fragrances, preservatives).
3. Support the resolution of recurrent service, quality issues within his/her supplier base
4. Plan and execute a yearly saving plan leveraging all the opportunities and deploying the Group Procurement strategy
5. Contribute to sustainability and compliance initiatives by evaluating suppliers’ adherence to regulatory and environmental standards.
6. Establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships to generate good customer service and create a positive image of Northern Labs Supply Chain to promote and increase our business with the customer.
7. Ability to analyze data and convert to supply chain needs.
8. Superior organizational skills, high level attention to detail.
9. Ability to work effectively and independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
10. Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle shifting deadlines and priorities.

Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or associate’s degree in supply chain management with equivalent experience
Experience:- 5–7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing and/or processing environment, with strong functional expertise in sourcing and procurement.
Specific Skills
- Internationally oriented specialist with in-depth knowledge and experience in purchasing, preferably in the FMCG industry. Prior experience within the household or home cleaning product category will be considered a strong asset.
- Familiar with kdc/one’s key commodities, including raw materials such as chemicals and plastics, as well as packaging and transportation.
- SAP expertise is a plus
Others:- Fluency in English is a prerequisite
