Prepare sample as per the requirements of the standard test methods, conduct chemical and instrumental testing for variety of laboratory samples (Construction materials, Environmental, Food, etc.) as per standard method, established standard operation procedure or as per customer’s requirements; Conduct program testing, experiments and review test results.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct chemical and instrumental testing for variety of laboratory samples (Construction materials, Environmental, Food, etc.) as per standard method, established standard operation procedure or as per customer’s requirements.

· Prepare sample as per the requirements of the standard test methods

· Follow and implement ACES Quality system.

· Inform immediate superior case of any equipment defect/breakdown.

· Use appropriate protective tools to ensure safety requirements are met.

· Ensure good housekeeping requirements are met.

· Check laboratory worksheets for accuracy of data entry and calculations before their submission to concerned engineer for reporting.

· Submit test results to lab supervisor.

· Monitoring and recording of environmental condition (Temp. and humidity).

· Maintain laboratory apparatus and equipment in good working condition. Inform Chemical Laboratory Supervisor for any repair when required.

· Ensure testing laboratory and equipment are clean and in orderly fashion.

· Preparation of calibration solution and reagents.

· Sampling on site as required.

· Giving training and conducting seminars.

· Conducting method validation experiments.

· Analysis of PT samples
