Position Overview

In this position the employee will provide the following services to support production of PET biomarkers at PETNET manufacturing facilities:

  • Provide engineering services to sustain the production and testing of PET biomarkers
  • Design and develop improvements for released products, processes, and equipment used in the production and testing of PET biomarkers; including optimization to increase batch success rates
  • Review, revise, and/or develop technical documentation utilized in biomarker production, quality control, and equipment maintenance
  • Administer software solutions used to support biomarker manufacturing processes
  • Support the implementation of manufacturing and quality control testing changes of PET biomarkers
  • Provide Tier 2 biomarker technical support, including data driven investigations
  • Interface with Process Engineering, Quality, Technical Support, Implementation Engineering, Supply Chain, and Training to ensure a smooth transition during implementation of process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and maintain compliance with industry standards
  • Track and review production trends to identify equipment and process improvements
  • Prioritize identified problems and develop solutions to improve productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the development of new features and optimization of software applications
  • Track and maintain assets (e.g. equipment, parts, tools, software, etc.)
  • Interact with PETNET manufacturing facilities and product sponsors on requested changes to documentation, processes, materials, analytical methods etc.
  • Perform validation of new materials, analytical methods and software and document results in formal validation summary reports
  • Assist Quality and Technical Support teams in investigations and root cause analysis
  • Develop implementation plans for sustaining engineering projects and ensure thorough and timely documentation of the implementations is complete
  • Work with strategic procurement and supply chain teams to mitigate urgent material shortages and review material change requests to add secondary suppliers and/or decrease costs
  • Complete assigned trainings and maintain qualifications to ensure readiness to support validation efforts

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS degree in chemistry, engineering or other science field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related research/industry experience
  • Experience working with complex analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, and TLC
  • Strong technical writing background (e.g., procedures, protocols, validation reports)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project managerial skills
  • Excellent attention to detail in the execution of job responsibilities
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • Limited travel as required to perform job functions

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience in production and testing of 18F radiolabeled biomarkers
  • Experience with general radiation safety and hazardous material handling or similar technical experience
  • Experience working with radiochemistry production modules
  • Experience in prototyping, 3D printing, or design optimization

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $80,900 - Max $121,300

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
