Summary:

The Chief Academic Officer is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the institution’s academic operations. This includes strategic planning, curriculum design, faculty development, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of all educational programs. The CAO plays a key role in aligning academic goals with the organization’s vision, promoting innovation in teaching, and driving continuous improvement in student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the institution’s academic strategy, policies, and curriculum for healthcare programs.
• Oversee the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of academic and clinical training modules.
• Design, review, and update academic programs and curriculum frameworks across all disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with academic regulations, accreditation, and quality assurance standards.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
• Foster an environment that promotes research, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Introduce digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, and technology-based education systems.
• Manage academic budgets, schedules, and academic infrastructure.
• Build partnerships with industry and external academic bodies to enhance institutional visibility.
• Track and improve key performance indicators (student success, retention, and placement).
• Represent the organization in academic forums, accreditation bodies, and conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Nursing, or Allied Health Sciences.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, Management, or any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of academic or training leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in curriculum design, faculty management, and institutional development.
• Strong understanding of accreditation and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
