Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations across all business units.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitor cash flow, and analyze variances from projected figures.
- Ensure full compliance with internal financial policies, audit requirements, tax regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Manage and monitor all accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
- Maintain and continuously improve internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities to ensure proper compliance and reporting.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, cost control evaluations, and profitability insights to support strategic decision-making by executive management.
- Support ERP or accounting system implementation, upgrades, and process automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Serve as the key point of contact between the finance department and other business units to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.
- Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior, supervisory, or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar platforms).
- In-depth understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial data to drive business performance.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, delegating tasks, and maintaining accountability within a finance function.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
- Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and local financial compliance is a plus.
