Chief Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to manage the complete financial and accounting operations of our Dubai-based company. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Tally, excellent financial reporting skills, and good knowledge of UAE accounting practices. Candidates who can speak Gujarati will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations using Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll & Petty Cash
• Prepare and analyze Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Report
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filing VAT returns
• Conduct Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit
• Monitor inventory & cost control for accurate reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Generate MIS reports for management on a timely basis
• Improve internal controls and implement efficient accounting processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred)
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT laws and filing process
• Excellent skills in MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Ability to lead and supervise accounting staff

Preferred Skills

• Gujarati language (speaking or reading) is preferred
• Experience working in Dubai or other GCC countries
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team leadership and problem-solving skills
