Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your role would include:
- Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions
- Financial planning and reporting: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Monitor financial performance, produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Accounting and bookkeeping: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
- Coordinate external audits and prepare required financial statements.
- Cost management: Monitor cost controls and make recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. Analyze profitability and provide financial insight to the management team.
- Team management: Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and feedback. Ensure the team's work is accurate, timely, and meets the organization's standards.
- System implementation: Oversee the implementation of accounting and financial software systems. Ensure integration with other operational systems.
- Strategic planning: Participate in the development and implementation of the company's strategic plans.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Identifying issues with accounting processes or procedures that could lead to future errors or misinterpretations of data
- Responsible for year-end closing and the preparation of the monthly financial statements.
- Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Able to work independently and also good in managing team
· Six or more years of proven working experience in Chief Accountant position in relevant industry
· Be able to commit your responsibility in accounting and financial management.
· Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
· Excellence verbal and written communication skill and English are essential.
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance Management.
