Chief Accountant

RiseUp Group is hiring on behalf of one of it's leading clients in the food manufacturing, F&B industry.

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for leading and supervising the full accounting operations of the company, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with business and audit requirements.

This role includes overseeing daily accounting activities, managing general ledger functions, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring proper cost accounting for raw materials, production, and inventory. The Chief Accountant will also support budgeting and forecasting processes, prepare monthly/annual financial statements, and coordinate with external auditors.

In addition, the role requires developing financial analyses and dashboards, enforcing internal controls, guiding accounting staff, and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. This position demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, deep financial expertise, and the ability to balance operational accuracy with strategic financial insight.

Reporting to: Finance Manager

English: Excellent (spoken & written)

Experience: Minimum 10–12 years in Accounting, including 3+ years in a supervisory or senior accounting role

Software & Tools: Strong ERP user,advanced MS Suite

Certification: IFRS Certificate, CMA (or any equivalent costing/management accounting diploma), Diploma in Cost Accounting

Location: Heliopolis

Work Schedule: 5 days/week, 10 AM – 5 PM
