Position Title: Chief Accountant

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to manage and oversee the complete accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and ensuring accurate financial records in line with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor expenses, cost controls, and profitability analysis.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team for timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (CA / ACCA / CMA) is preferred.
• 7–12 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
