Job Overview

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant with 7+ years of expertise in property development and real estate brokerage. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensure full compliance with UAE financial regulations, and deliver strategic financial insights to management. This role requires solid knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, audits, treasury management, and cost control. The Chief Accountant will collaborate closely with senior management to maintain financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
• Conduct financial analysis and present actionable insights to support management decisions.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other financial regulations.
• Manage tax filings, audits, and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
• Stay abreast of UAE tax updates and regulatory changes affecting the business.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
• Oversee banking transactions, loan settlements, and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models to support financial planning.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Implement cost-optimization strategies to enhance financial performance.
• Ensure all expenditures comply with company policies and approved budgets.

Audit & Internal Controls

• Manage internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Continuously improve financial processes and accounting systems for greater efficiency.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team, including junior accountants and bookkeepers.
• Provide training and guidance on best accounting practices and UAE regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to enhance workflow and reporting accuracy.

Key RequirementsQualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA (qualified or part-qualified preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• At least 3 years in a senior accounting role within property development or real estate (mandatory).

Technical Skills

• Strong command of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Experience in financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations.

Soft Skills

• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
