Chief Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our restaurant business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector, with in-depth knowledge of cost control, inventory, VAT, and financial reporting in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations for the restaurant, including sales, expenses, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, P&L reports, and cash flow reports
• Monitor food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and wastage control
• Ensure accurate recording of daily sales and POS reports
• Handle VAT compliance, filing, and coordination with auditors
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial controls for restaurant operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurant or hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and UAE VAT
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and accounting software
