General Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of project accounting and job costing
• Monitor budget vs. actuals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Track and report project-wise profitability and gross margins
• Control inventory valuation, stock movement, and reconciliation
• Manage subcontractor and supplier payments based on project milestones
• Ensure accurate monthly closing and management reporting
• Maintain strict control over cash flow and working capital
• Ensure VAT/GST compliance and audit readiness
• Strengthen internal financial controls and accountability systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Pursuing or completed professional certification ( CA – Inter / ACCA / CIMA) preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, fit-out, or project-driven trading companies.
• Proven hands-on experience in project costing, margin analysis, and inventory control.
• Strong understanding of inventory-heavy and project-based operations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (Sage, First Bit, etc)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with project teams.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
