Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely closing of accounts and month-end/year-end processes.
Monitor general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and intercompany transactions.
Review journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting records.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity requirements.
Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
Supervise accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely vendor payments.
Review aging reports and implement collection strategies.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare and submit required tax filings and financial reports.
Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and other applicable regulations.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
Review payroll calculations and ensure timely salary processing.
Verify employee benefits, leave settlements, gratuity calculations, and final settlements.
Coordinate with HR regarding payroll-related matters.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
Safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
Team Leadership
Supervise and guide accounting staff.
Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
Provide training and support to finance team members.
Promote continuous improvement in accounting processes.
Management Reporting
Prepare financial reports, management reports.
Present financial information and recommendations to management.
Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
Provide profitability analysis by project, department, or business unit.
