Job Summary

A growing industrial and trading group with manufacturing operations and multiple branches in the UAE and Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Chief Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for the finance and accounting function, manage multi-branch operations, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Strong hands-on experience in Tally and Odoo ERP is mandatory.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Accounting Operations

• Oversee full accounting operations for manufacturing, trading, and branch activities.
• Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate postings.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements.
• Handle cost accounting, product costing validation, and factory-related analysis.
• Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and consolidations.

ERP & Systems Management

• Must have practical, strong hands-on experience in Tally and Odoo ERP.
• Manage accounting, inventory, and logistics workflows within Odoo.
• Ensure accurate ERP configuration, data integrity, and process compliance.

Logistics & Supply Chain Financial Coordination

• Experience using or supervising Odoo Logistics Modules.
• Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams on GRN, delivery orders, and stock movement.
• Validate landed cost, freight allocation, and stock reconciliations.

Tax, Compliance & Audit

• Ensure UAE VAT and Saudi VAT/Zakat compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial documentation.

Budgeting, Cash Flow & Reporting

• Support annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Manage receivables, payables, bank reconciliations, and cash flow activities.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Supervise and guide the accounting team.
• Implement improved processes, workflow efficiency, and reporting systems.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting and ERP-related tasks.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with production, logistics, procurement, and sales teams.
• Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently across finance and operations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7–15 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior accounting/manager role.
• Strong experience in manufacturing and trading industries.
• Daily hands-on working experience in Tally and Odoo (mandatory).
• Experience with Odoo Logistics/Inventory/Warehouse modules.
• Experience in multi-branch or group company environments (UAE + Saudi preferred).
• Strong cost accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMA (highly preferred), CPA, ACCA, or currently pursuing.
• Prior experience handling UAE VAT and Saudi VAT/Zakat.
• Experience setting up or restructuring accounting systems and processes.
