Overview
Operational Ownership: In this role, I will ensure the efficient operation of the Engineering department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
Responsibilities
- Work strategically with the Director of Engineering to develop cohesive and productive goals for the department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them. Support an overall consistency of the Company's vision, quality/standards, and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Focus on the rejuvenation of the department.
- Ensure that products and services will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Focus and review regularly through my physical presence, our rigorous adherence to LQA standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations' logistical management, maintenance, and repair of all Fire Life Safety systems.
- Complete guest requests and support all operational departments when and as required and instructed by the DOE.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations' logistical management, maintenance, and repair of all tasks highlighted in the HUB service call system.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property's water bodies.
- Logistical management of all outside vendors to complete any servicing of equipment.
- Management and completion of record keeping and documentation and reports as specified by Six Senses brand guidelines.
- First responder to all Life/Fire safety issues as well as occasional risk /loss activities.
- Ownership and coordination oversight of all Health and safety issues relating to the property.
- Manage tasks assigned to FLS / Health and safety and energy conservation committees.
- Ensure the product remains in optimal order and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Minimize payroll costs by maximizing productivity and efficient scheduling of hosts.
- Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the operation.
- Complete accurately all corporate reporting requirements for the role.
- Attend or conduct the designated meetings and briefings as instructed by my Manager.
- Perform any additional duties given to me by my manager.
