Chief Engineer

Park Regis Business Bay is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Engineer to lead the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in line with brand standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel
• Ensure smooth functioning of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Lead, train, and manage the engineering team
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Handle emergency repairs and technical troubleshooting
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Monitor departmental budget, expenses, and cost control
• Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hotel engineering
• At least 2–3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of hotel MEP systems and maintenance practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment
• Relevant certifications (HVAC, Electrical, etc.)
• Good communication skills in English
