Job Purpose:
To supervise and evaluate the design and construction of highway and internal road projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee road construction projects from initiation to handover, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and quality standards

Monitor project progress, perform schedule variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions for delays

Review and evaluate designs, drawings, and traffic diversion plans for road projects

Ensure compliance with specifications, materials standards, and QA/QC procedures during all project phases

Conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality, safety, and progress

Manage project risks, maintain risk registers, and implement mitigation plans

Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, consultants, and contractors

Lead project meetings, define communication plans, and ensure proper reporting and documentation

Oversee project handover processes, including inspections, snag lists, and Defect Notification Period (DNP) follow-up

Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and information security requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in roads/highways construction and project management
