The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the Group’s operations, financial performance, governance, and long-term growth. The CEO will execute the Board-approved strategy, ensure regulatory compliance as a publicly listed entity, and enhance brand positioning, profitability, and stakeholder confidence.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategy & Leadership


  • Develop and implement the Group’s long-term strategy in alignment with Board directives and Oman Vision 2040.
  • Lead organizational transformation to enhance operational efficiency, guest experience, and profitability.
  • Identify growth opportunities including new developments, asset repositioning, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Drive innovation across hospitality services, digital platforms, and customer engagement.


2. Financial Performance & Shareholder Value


  • Ensure sustainable revenue growth, cost optimization, and strong EBITDA performance.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and cash flow management.
  • Deliver consistent value creation for shareholders in line with public market expectations.
  • Present clear, transparent financial and operational reports to the Board and shareholders.


3. Governance, Compliance & Risk


  • Ensure full compliance with Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations, Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) requirements, and applicable Omani laws.
  • Strengthen corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Act as the primary interface with regulators, auditors, and external advisors.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability.


4. Operations & Asset Management


  • Oversee all hospitality operations including hotels, resorts, F&B, and leisure assets.
  • Ensure consistent service quality, brand standards, and guest satisfaction across the portfolio.
  • Optimize asset performance through effective revenue management, cost controls, and capex planning.
  • Work closely with international hotel operators, franchise partners.


5. People & Culture


  • Build a high-performance leadership team with clear accountability and succession planning.
  • Promote Omanisation in line with national objectives while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of performance, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and best HR practices in Oman.


6. Stakeholder Management


  • Act as the principal spokesperson of the company with investors, analysts, shareholders, media, and government stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, regulators, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company at industry forums and public engagements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience


Essential


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 15–20 years of senior leadership experience, with at least 5 years as CEO/MD/COO in hospitality, tourism, real estate, or a related asset-heavy sector
  • Proven experience leading large, complex organizations, preferably publicly listed
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, asset management, and financial performance
  • Demonstrated experience working with Boards and managing investor relations


Preferred


  • Master’s degree (Hospitality / MBA or equivalent)
  • Experience in the GCC, with strong knowledge of the Omani market
  • Exposure to hotel management contracts, franchising, and mixed-use developments
