Chief Executive Officer - Residential & Hospitality

Our client, a leading and ambitious real estate development company based in Madina, Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of exponential growth. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record in developing and delivering complex mixed-use real estate projects, with a particular expertise in the hospitality sector (hotels, resorts, serviced apartments). The CEO will be responsible for executing the overall strategic direction, driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and building a world-class brand synonymous with quality and innovation in the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term business plan.
• Lead the capitalization strategy, manage banking relationships, and secure funding for the development pipeline.
• Provide overall leadership and direction for all company operations, including development, construction, finance, commercial, and HR.
• Act as the primary company representative to investors, the board of directors, government authorities, and the media.
• Drive the company's brand identity and market positioning as a leader in mixed-use and hospitality development.
• Ensure the highest standards of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Business Administration, or Finance.
• A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Real Estate) from a globally recognized institution is highly preferred
• A minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale real estate development, with at least 10 years in a senior executive role (e.g., CEO, COO, Senior Vice President) overseeing a significant portfolio.
• Proven P&L Responsibility: Demonstrable experience managing a business unit or company with substantial revenue and asset value (e.g., SAR 1 Billion+).
• Mixed-Use & Hospitality Expertise
• A documented history of successfully leading the end-to-end development of at least 3-5 major mixed-use projects (minimum 100,000 sqm GFA).
• Deep, hands-on experience in the hospitality sector, having worked directly with international hotel operators (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Accor, Rotana) on development, branding, management agreements, and pre-opening activities.
• Full Project Lifecycle Mastery: Comprehensive experience overseeing all project phases: land acquisition, feasibility studies, master planning, design management, financing, construction, sales & marketing, handover, and asset management.

Preferred Candidate:

• Based in or willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with giga or large master-planned developments is highly desirable.
• Experience working for renowned real estate developers in the GCC region.
