Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations.
- Manage budgeting processes, financial planning, and forecasting to support long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead risk analysis efforts, including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), risk management frameworks, and internal controls such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations).
- Supervise treasury management activities, including cash flow optimization, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit and public organizations.
- Drive business development through market analysis, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and strategic partnerships to expand organizational impact.
- Provide leadership in financial report writing and interpretation to inform executive decision-making and stakeholder communication.
- Manage expense control, cost management initiatives, and revenue cycle management to maximize profit & loss performance.
- Lead a high-performing finance team by supervising staff involved in payroll management, technical accounting, cost control, and financial software implementation.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606 (revenue recognition standard), and other accounting standards.
- Proven experience with SOX compliance, COSO frameworks, and regulatory reporting processes.
- Strong expertise in mergers & acquisitions, business analysis, market analysis, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, forecasting, fiscal management, and revenue management.
- Exceptional skills in risk analysis, risk management strategies, and internal controls implementation.
- Proficiency with financial software systems for data analysis, reporting automation, and financial planning tools.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams across multiple finance functions including treasury management and cost control.
- Deep understanding of governmental accounting practices for non-profit organizations or public entities.
- Skilled in negotiation, business development strategies, and stakeholder engagement to foster organizational growth.
- Strong analytical skills combined with technical accounting expertise in areas such as tax accounting, cost accounting, supply chain finance, and expense management.
