We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive the organization’s fiscal health and growth. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and technical accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Manage treasury functions, cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with SOX controls and other legal requirements.
- Direct mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating market opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating deal terms to support business expansion.
- Implement effective risk management practices by analyzing financial risks related to supply chain, market fluctuations, and operational expenses.
- Supervise financial reporting processes; interpret complex financial reports; write clear financial reports for stakeholders; communicate insights effectively for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee revenue cycle management including revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606; manage expense control initiatives; monitor profit & loss statements to maximize profitability.
- Lead management in treasury management functions such as liquidity planning, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
- Drive business development efforts through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks including COSO internal controls framework; maintain adherence to IFRS standards; oversee audit processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting departments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including fiscal management, cost control, risk analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance principles such as budgeting, forecasting, tax accounting, and revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards like SOX compliance, IAS standards, GAAP guidelines, and ASC 606 revenue recognition rules.
- Demonstrated ability in mergers & acquisitions evaluation and negotiation; experience with business development is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial software systems; experience with advanced Excel modeling is essential.
- Exceptional leadership qualities combined with strategic thinking; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong understanding of governmental accounting practices if applicable; experience in supply chain or cost management is a plus.
